Expedition payment
The cost of our expeditions are divided into two payments, the Expedition Payment and the Local Payment.
The Expedition Payment is the main bulk payment for your expedition and is payable in the U.K. in GBP £ Sterling only and must be paid in full three months prior to the expedition start date. The Expedition Payment can be paid by direct deposit.
> Back to topLocal Payment
This is a cash payment that must be paid to your expedition leader at the beginning of your trip.
The local payment is essentially part of you expedition payment and it is the cash fund that will be used to run the expedition, i.e. to pay for camping, hotels, food, ferry and train tickets, entrance fees to included National Parks etc.
Please bear in mind that this is not a kitty and is not refundable.
Although all local payment amounts are advertised in GBP Sterling, depending on which expedition you are joining, you may be asked to bring the equivalent GBP amount in either Euros or US Dollars.
